Membership Levels & Dues

  • Chapter Member - $50

    • A chapter member shall be an alumnus/alumna of the University. This member must pay annual chapter dues to be in good standing. Has voting rights in the chapter and is eligible to hold an elected office.

    Associate Member - $25

    • An Associate Member is a non-alumnus/alumna who wishes to participate in Chapter activities. Associate Members are entitled to the same benefits as other members except to hold elected positions.

  • Life Member

    • A Life membership shall consist of those elected to such status by the Chapter in recognition of outstanding and meritorious services to the university. Life member(s) shall have all privileges of membership.

Membership dues are renewed annually on July 1st

GET INVOLVEd: Join a Committee

  • Communications Committee

    • Partner with staff to oversee a consistent and active communication strategy to all stakeholders for the purposes of program messaging, fundraising, awareness and branding

  • Membership Committee

    • Monitor all aspects of membership, including bringing in new members and retaining current members, and ensure that the member experience meets everyone’s expectations

  • Scholarship Committee

    • Facilitate the chapter scholarship criteria setting, selection and awarding process and work with the University to identify local area students with scholarship needs

  • Student Recruitment Committee

    • Develop recruitment strategies designed to enroll local students from the DFW area to NC A&T State University including managing the chapter's presence at local college/career fairs and increasing the number of certified alumni recruiters to participate in upcoming fairs  

  • Fundraising Committee

    • Create streams of income into the chapter to offset operating expenses and fund student scholarships
